v1.0.4 — 2026-09-07 (current guide baseline)
  • Added: two chained sub-missions — Beyond Dimensions (accept at Fisherman's Point, Mount Obsidian) and From the Far Side of the Moon (unlocks after clearing the first). Fresh missions are currently some of the cleanest player XP in the game.
  • Changed: summoned and Base Pals now prioritise higher-damage skills; charging-type skill loops fixed. Fishing rebalanced in Sunreach and the World Tree, with a new Fish Behaviour World Setting.
  • Changed: Ancient Bark gathering now requires Work Suitability Lv. 1, removing a mid-game crafting bottleneck.
  • Fixed: World Tree Radiant Gems dropping mismatched elements (Awakening farming), plus 100+ bug fixes across crashes, multiplayer, missions, passives and UI. QoL: Palpedia name search, default 120 FPS cap on PC.
  • Impact on guides: Paldeck stats and breeding recipes are unchanged; base-defence and raid advice should assume smarter Base Pal skill priority.
v1.0.3 balance package — 2026-08-12
  • Changed: Jetragon-related technologies now unlock at Level 70 (was 79), with cheaper Pal Gear materials for riding Jetragon.
  • Changed: the Aquatic Construction Kit now unlocks at Level 23 (was 66), Ancient Technology Point cost cut from 4 to 1 — shoreline bases are now an early-game option.
  • Changed: World Tree Holy Water weight reduced from 1 to 0.1, longer duration, and new sources (expeditions, fishing, Teafant Springs).
  • Changed: trees drop double Fiber; Crude Oil Extractors cost less and produce faster; exploit removals (item duplication, Sphere Launcher interval abuse).
  • Impact on guides: any tech-tree or progression page referencing the old unlock levels has been re-checked against this baseline.
v1.0 stable — 2026-07-10 (launch baseline)
  • Added: 1.0 content pack (new pals, final areas, endgame raids) per official release notes.
  • Changed: balance pass on capture rates, breeding power values and several boss stats.
  • Fixed: pathfinding issues, save-corruption edge cases, dedicated-server stability.
  • Impact on guides: breeding recipes and capture-rank numbers above follow this baseline — verify in-game.

🔍How We Track New Content

What changes a guide
  1. New pals → Paldeck entries + breeding recipes.
  2. Balance changes → boss levels, capture odds, work suitability.
  3. New bosses/raids → combat page + team templates.
  4. New buildings/tech → base & tech pages.

💡 After every patch we re-verify the four "volatile" pages (Paldeck, Breeding, Combat, Capturing) first — they break fastest.

Every page links back here. If a number no longer matches your game, note the version and the page — our maintainers update guides within days of a patch. Fan-made accuracy is only as good as the players who report drift.

FAQ

What usually changes in a patch

The stable pattern: new Pal roster additions and dungeon variants arrive with major patches, balance passes adjust capture rates and boss health, and base-quality-of-life fixes arrive between the headlines. Save compatibility can depend on the build, platform and mods, but the standing advice holds: back up before updating, especially on dedicated servers where the whole group's world is one file.

How we track patches

Each major update gets a dated entry the day it lands: new Pals, balance changes, base-system tweaks and known bugs, with the guide pages that quote affected numbers updated in the same pass. Minor patches roll into the next major entry unless they break something the guide depends on — the goal is a log that matches the game's real history without drowning in hotfix noise.

Roster and version scope

This site's Paldeck and team builder cover a selection of Pals, not the entire game roster. Version 1.0.4 was published on 7 September 2026. Use Pocketpair’s Steam announcements and the in-game Paldeck for current changes and values.
