All numeric data (stats, drops, work suitability, capture odds) applies to v1.0.4 (September 2026). Palworld receives frequent balance patches — always double-check values against the in-game Paldeck before planning an endgame farm. FAQ
Check the version of each reference
Palworld updates land frequently and shift numbers, so pages that quote stats carry their own last-updated date and the update log page tracks what changed. If a number here disagrees with your game, check the log before trusting either — and the corrections address on the contact page is read by the same people who wrote the guide.
How the guide is organized
Four sections mirror how the game is actually played: Start Here covers the first hours and the systems that matter before your first tower, Base & Economy covers zoning, power and production lines, Combat & Progression covers the type chart, bosses and the tech tree, and Community & Platform covers multiplayer hosting, mods and the platform differences. New players should read Start Here once and then live in whichever section their current bottleneck points to.
Where to start if you just booted the game
Catch everything in the opening meadow, build the first base near water and ore, and let the Paldeck guide the first work assignments — the early game is a tutorial for the loop the whole guide assumes: capture, assign, produce, progress. When the first tower boss is on the horizon, the combat page's matchup chart is the reading that matters.
Roster and version scope
This site's Paldeck and team builder cover a selection of Pals, not the entire game roster. Version 1.0.4 was published on 7 September 2026. Use Pocketpair’s Steam announcements and the in-game Paldeck for current changes and values.
