Paldeck: verify a Pal in your own save

Start with the installed build

Open the in-game Paldeck entry and note the name, labels and information it actually shows. Do not infer a work skill from a species name or a capture difficulty from the old five-rank table.

Make a useful comparison

If you observe a material, record the condition: defeated encounter, captured target, world pickup or base output. The former universal ranch FAQ has been removed because it conflated these conditions.

Keep the limits explicit

For a base task, record the skill and behaviour displayed in the current build. Compare two candidates under the same task before writing a recommendation. We no longer display unverified habitats, drops or capture ranks.

A record you can check later

Write the platform and build, the task or encounter, the input you changed and what you observed. Include the relevant help text or announcement if it supports the result. Leave unobserved fields blank. This is an editorial method for keeping useful notes, not a claim of first-hand testing by Luminesca.

Open the party notebook to keep observations locally. It uses your entries and does not import our retired species dataset. Review the build before reusing an old note.
