Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Luminesca Games (games.luminesca.net) is part of Luminesca, a small, independent network of in-depth game guides, free online tools, and thoughtful analysis. This page explains what data we collect, what we don't, and how third-party services handle information on our sites.
2. Information We Collect
- Automatically collected data: standard web analytics (pages visited, approximate region, device type, referring site). This is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
- Cookies: we use cookies for analytics and advertising purposes only. We do not collect or store personal data such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers. Some interactive features (e.g. collectible trackers) store progress locally in your browser and are never uploaded.
3. Third-Party Services
- Google AdSense: Luminesca properties display ads served by Google — including games.luminesca.net. Google uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits. You may opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
- Google Analytics: aggregated, non-identifying traffic statistics.
- Cloudflare: our hosting and CDN provider, which may process IP addresses for security and edge delivery purposes.
- Game imagery: screenshots and artwork on this site are used for informational/editorial purposes in connection with the games they depict; all game titles and assets remain the property of their respective rights holders.
4. Our Properties
This policy covers all sites in the Luminesca network:

- news.luminesca.net — news analysis
- tools.luminesca.net — online tools
- travel.luminesca.net — travel guides
5. Your Choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect the functionality of some features, including personalized ads. You may also use private browsing or incognito mode to limit tracking.
6. Children's Privacy
Luminesca properties are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

We treat policy questions with the same discipline as guide corrections: read, verify, answer within a few business days, and publish a policy change note when the answer changes the policy.
Advertising and analytics, plainly
Traffic analytics are aggregate and privacy-preserving: Google Analytics 4 sees pages visited, approximate region, device type and referral — not identities. Advertising runs through Google AdSense, which may set its own cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where your settings permit; you can turn ad personalisation off in your Google Ad Settings at any time. No email lists, no tracking pixels, no social media scripts, and no data sales — the guides and tools work without cookies because everything interactive runs client-side in your browser.
Third parties and outbound links
Two third parties touch this site by design: Google (Analytics and AdSense, each governed by Google's own privacy policy) and Cloudflare (delivery and security; server logs of IP, user agent and request path are retained for security and abuse prevention). Guides also link out to official sources and community resources — once you follow a link off this site, that destination's privacy practices are its own, and we have no visibility into them.
Your choices and data requests
You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's official browser add-on, turn ad personalisation off in Google Ad Settings, and clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Because we do not collect personal data beyond what you email us, there is no account to delete and no profile to export; correspondence is kept only as long as the follow-up needs. For anything privacy-related, email the editorial address on the contact page with Privacy in the subject line — policy questions get the same read-verify-answer discipline as guide corrections.
