🩺Laura Eisele — Destiny Guide

🎯Destiny & Endings

Laura's Destiny is built from her medical ethics choices. Picking rational options (log over emotion) keeps her alive in the crew-split decisions, while empathy options at key moments unlock her path to the humanitarian ending. Her Humanitarian ending requires keeping her trust high through Chapter 4's crew conflict — see the Humanitarian ending guide for the exact choice tree.

🩹Survival Tips

Laura is the designated healer in split segments. Keep her with the main group in Chapter 3's mimic attack (her medical checks prevent a crew death that locks out two endings). In the Chapter 6 escape, her calm-under-pressure checks are easier than the others' — route her to the escape pod door when the timer is tight.

Role in the crew

Every Directive 8020 protagonist carries a two-way Destiny, and Laura Eisele is no exception. This page explains Laura's role, the opposing paths, and how both feed the trophy list.

The two Destiny paths

Laura Eisele's two opposing Destiny paths are Rational versus Sympathetic. The Crew menu shows a bar for each, and choices inside Laura's scenes push it toward one pole or the other. The bars are the game's own progress tracker: if a path is half-full, you know which scenes to revisit once chapter select is available.

Destinies and the trophy list

Use the game’s supported Turning Points and replay options to explore another branch. The previous reference to a Curator’s Cut or Shared Story route was not supported for Directive 8020.

Survival stakes

Destiny is separate from survival. Laura can die mid-run — failed QTEs, wrong calls in fatal scenes, or being the wrong person in the wrong room during the mimic's act — and the Crew Manifest trophy wants all five protagonists alive at the end. If Laura dies on your save, chapter select back to the death scene is the recovery path; the save-everyone route page documents the known lethal beats. A dead protagonist also closes off their Destiny progress for that run, so survival and trophy hunting compound.

FAQ

Does Laura's Destiny affect the true ending?

Directly. The Humanitarian true ending is Laura's — it requires her Humanitarian Destiny locked in and all five crew alive, so her medical-ethics choices are the spine of the save-everyone route. If you are planning the true-ending run, Laura is the character whose dialogue choices you script first, and the survival tips above keep her alive to make them.

Can Laura be killed and still finish a Destiny?

A dead protagonist's Destiny progress stops for that run. Chapter select back to the fatal scene keeps both the survival goals and the Destiny bars recoverable.

Do Laura's Destiny choices affect the ending?

Indirectly but meaningfully — Destiny paths steer which scenes and reveals a character accesses, and several endings hinge on those reveals. The ending set and the Destiny trophies therefore reward different emphasis across playthroughs.

How do I get Laura's best ending?

Keep her trust high by choosing empathy options at key story moments, especially during Chapter 4's crew conflict, then follow the Humanitarian path.
