About Luminesca Games

Luminesca Games is a small, independent game-guide studio. We publish deep, well-structured guides for six games — Hollow Knight, Palworld, Crimson Desert, Subnautica 2, Directive 8020 and 33 Immortals — covering walkthroughs, encyclopedias, boss guides and interactive tools.

What we do

How guides are made

Guides are compiled from public documentation: official game sites and store pages, developer patch notes and update logs, publisher press material, and community-maintained wikis. Each page lists the sources it draws on, and pages covering Early Access or recently patched titles state which build or version they were compiled against. Game titles, characters and artwork belong to their respective rights holders and are referenced for informational purposes only.

Who writes the guides

Luminesca Games is an unofficial fan reference site. We publish under a single editorial byline rather than individual staff names, and we do not present our content as first-hand playtesting or competitive-grade analysis. If you spot an error, tell us and we will check it against the cited source. How we research our guides →

What this site is not

We are not affiliated with any game studio or publisher, we do not run ads inside strategy content, and we do not publish AI-generated filler pages to pad the catalogue. If a page exists, someone played the content and wrote it deliberately — that is the whole quality bar, and it is the reason the catalogue grows at the pace it does.

What the catalogue looks like today

Deep, well-structured guides for six games: Hollow Knight, Palworld, Crimson Desert, Subnautica 2, Directive 8020 and 33 Immortals. The catalogue spans hundreds of pages — per-boss and per-system deep dives, interactive tools like the Pal Team Builder, and hub pages that tie each game's guide set into a readable order. Every page states what it covers and when it was last updated, so you can judge freshness before you trust a number.

The quality bar, plainly

We are not affiliated with any game studio or publisher, and we do not publish AI-generated filler pages to pad the catalogue. If a page exists, someone played the content and wrote it deliberately: the guide for a boss is written by someone who wiped on that boss, and the tool pages are built by someone who wanted them for their own runs. That is the whole standard, and it is why the catalogue grows at the pace it does.

How the catalogue is organised

Every game on this site gets a small set of core pages: an index that summarises what the game is and what our coverage includes, reference pages for the things players look up most often, and a small set of browser tools where they genuinely help. When a game has a story worth explaining separately, we add dedicated pages for characters, regions and endings rather than cramming everything into one long article.

The catalogue currently covers six titles in various depths: Hollow Knight, Crimson Desert, Palworld, Subnautica 2, 33 Immortals and Directive 8020. The depth is deliberately uneven. Hollow Knight has the deepest coverage because the game is finished and its facts are stable. Upcoming titles get lighter, carefully worded pages that are expanded as real information becomes available.

How we handle unreleased games

For games that have not shipped yet, we keep a much tighter grip on what we publish. Pages for upcoming titles describe only what has been confirmed by the developer: release windows shown as windows rather than dates, features shown in official trailers, and systems the studio has talked about in interviews or developer updates. We do not publish speculated stat tables, invented item lists or leaked content.

When official information changes, we update the relevant pages and adjust the last-modified date rather than quietly rewriting history. If a page relied on information that later turned out to be wrong, we say so in the text instead of pretending the mistake never happened.
