Withdrawn claims
The previous entry presented Needle Eel with a threat level, a habitat zone and counter-play advice. None of those statements could be tied to a version-specific official source, and the creature name itself is not on record in Unknown Worlds’ public Early Access material. The entry, its FAQ answers and its structured data have been withdrawn. Do not use the former text to plan a route or a dive.
What official material establishes
Unknown Worlds’ Early Access material establishes a small, explicit set of facts: the game takes place on a new ocean world, launches with four confirmed biomes, and ships five confirmed creatures of which two are Leviathan-class. The Collector Leviathan is the one creature shown in official video, and a September 2026 hotfix records a pathing fix for it. A creature roster with individual names, stats and habitat lists is not part of the official record.
Third-party wikis exist, but they disagree with each other on names, numbers and locations, and none of that disagreement can be settled from official sources. We do not republish one wiki’s guess as our own guide.
Before restoring this entry
A restored entry needs a version-numbered source: an official announcement, patch note, or a dated in-game screenshot or databank capture, plus a reviewer who can replay it on the current build. Until then this address stays as a correction notice without ads, and the index page records the entry as unverified.
